This is a yoga class that everyone can practice at their level. It is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners. It will help unwind surface and deep tensions of the body mind system and increase sense of embodiment, connectedness and aliveness.
Through practices of mindful movement, yoga asanas (comfortable and steady postures), conscious breathing (pranayama) and deep relaxation and meditation, participants are encouraged to apply the yogic art of witnessing. This allows one to experience the depth of yoga well beyond the weekly class.
Regular participation will increase flexibility and strength, expand cheerfulness, courage, vitality and good concentration, nurturing well-being of body, mind and spirit.
There are online spaces and limited in person spaces at Southshore.
